      How to disable SIP ALG for a Linksys Router

      Instructions on how to disable SIP ALG for a Linksys Router

      Note: that this process will reboot your router - which will temporarily take your internet connection and phone service offline. 

      We recommend doing this in an off-peak period or outside of business hours.

       

      Disabling SIP ALG for a Linksys Router

      1. From the menu, choose Administration > Management
      2. Find the ALG section, then set SIPto Disabled and save your settings. If you're prompted to restart your router, please do so.
